Hotel chain Room Mate shares its experience.

Hotel Mate helps other hotel managers to create a better experience for the guest without changing the identity of the establishment. This idea comes from the joined work of the hotel manager and the Room Mate Hotels experts, who developed a realistic analysis and a plan that helps all of the departments in a hotel by making use of their know how that made Hotel Mate Hotels a guide for other hotel chains in an international level.

Room Mate Hotels collaborated with PriceWaterhouseCoopers to develop the technological tool, which took two years in the making. They teamed up with a team of 15 people and created a comprehensive tool that now shares with other hotel chains.

This tool is based on knowing the guest well, by not only knowing about their agreements, but also about their preferences and motivations. And how do they do that? By listening and talking to them on different social networks, by analyzing the contents that they like, and even learning about the way they navigate on the internet and, as a consequence, having a personal relationship with them.

El president and the founder of the chain, Kike Sarasola, differentiates the algorithm created in partnership with PriceWaterhouseCoopers with “others that use other companies to help them raise the price of that service so that the client ends up paying more money. This tool is focused on talking to the client, but not to charge them more, but to know more about them and improve their experience. And the client, seeing that, will we willing to pay more money, which is different. The other companies raise their prices because they think they know the client, but they don’t even talk with them”.
